The traditional Savoyarde village of Les Arcs Villaroger has barely changed in the last hundred years. Despite this old world charm it is located at the foot of the Les Arcs ski area which, with La Plagne, forms Paradiski, the second largest ski area in the world with 425 km of ski pistes and 160 ski lifts.
The chalet makes the perfect winter holiday in the village of Le Pre Villaroger with wonferful views both of the old village of Ste Foy and the ski area above and on the opposite side of the valley views of La Rosiere. It gives you access to the whole of the huge Paradiski area, one of the largest ski regions in the world.
Chalet les Violettes is a 2-minute walk from the Replat chairlift, which is in turn connected to the Violettes and Drossette chairlifts which take you to Arc 2000. To ski back to the village, you take the Lanchettes chairlift out of Arc 2000 and then you can ski back to the door, and since the installation of snow cannons over the past two summers, the ski back to the village is snow assured until the end of the season.
Villaroger Les Arcs is a ski area for keen progressive skiers who enjoy new challenges and a varied terrain with great piste and off-piste skiing back to the village either in the wide open or through the trees. The village itself is quiet with a local bar (La Ferme) and a restaurant (Le Goyet) and away from the nightlife of larger resorts. So, if you are a keen intermediate skier or snowboarder who just wants to relax of an evening with great chalet food and good company Villaroger is perfect for you, as our guests love this unspoilt tranquil village.
For the more adventertous skier or snowboarder who would like a varied holiday we are also within a 20-30 drive of Espace Killy, St Foy and La Rosiere.
